On The Lake

logs sticking out of the water

“On the lake,
the deep forbidden lake,
The old boats go gliding by,
And the leaves
are falling from the trees
And landing on the logs and I
See the turtles
heading for the bog
And falling off the log.
They make the water splash,
And feeling no backlash,
They climb the happy banks”
-Neil Young

Sometimes the lyrics of a song just speaks about a photograph and help tells the story better than regular words.   I felt this song by Neil Young did just that.  Of course, every picture tells a different story to those who view it.  What does it say to you?
