This is the Shed at my inlaws in Canada. We were there for Christmas and had a good time. I took this picture because I liked they mixture of white snow and the browns.

Empty Playground

A stark contrast from the busy summer months when the kids surround this piece of playground equipment.

A Snowy Shack

What once was a home is now a dilapidated old shack on the corner of a busy intersection, known as the “crossroads”. I have passed this place thousands of times, on my travels, never giving it a thought- until one day last Christmas when it snowed.

It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas

Smith Canyon South of Lava Hotsprings Idaho
Christmas time is upon us. Snow covers many parts of the country and we all get together with family and friends to remember the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Try not to get lost in the hub bub of the season and take a minute to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, redemption. Christ was born into this world to make us clean much as this snow. Isaiah wrote of the cleansing power of Christ's atonement, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." (Isaiah 1:18). Remember that just because it is beginning to look like Christmas it is up to us to make it feel like Christmas by remembering the true meaning of the redemption of man kind.

Still Waters

"1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. (Psalms 23)"
